Scholarship, grants and specializations:

§  SCGIS (Society for Conservation GIS) Scholarship – In 2007, I won an international competition for 1-month scholarship in USA for GIS training (5 GIS courses conducted by ESRI: Building Geodatabases, Advanced Analysis with ArcGIS, Working with ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, Cartography with ArcGIS, Understanding GIS Queries) and attendance of 2 international conferences with papers – 27th ESRI User Conference and 10th Annual SCGIS Conference. 

Advanced training in application of GIS in the field of conservation of the environment conducted by ESRI, June 4-15, 2007, Redlands, CA, USA:

Publications

My track-record of publications includes 33 publications. I am an author and co-author of 33 scientific papers, 9 of them published abroad (1 paper in Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing with 0.962 impact factor for 2010 and 1 in the Central Europe Journal of Geosciences) and 24 – in Bulgaria. The number of citations is 22, some of them are in Bulgarian paper editions and others are found through Google Scholar.
